My family is awesome;

I grew up surrounded by grace.

I strayed from the pack
I knew I always had a place.

They loved me through heartache,
Through trials and despair,
My wild-child years in my teens.

They always would catch me

Reminding me they’re on my team.

They supported my passions,
My hopes and my plans,
Encouraging all of my dreams.

They lifted me up till
My hands touched the stars
And I danced on the distant moonbeams.

Even today, they still stand
Right beside me,
As supportive as they’ve ever been.
